Testing the water!

Hiya all,

I no i no, there is properly no one out there reading this but just have felt over the last few weeks that i want to get back on the blogging scene and i no it s a little late for new years resolutions but i thought id set myself a little challenge to open a new blog, i did love it before and simply stopped due to time, my little boy Harry is more than a handful! But I'm going to start a new blog, so name will be changed etc and i will eventually post the link here, mainly updates about the dude himself, days out we go on, milestones in his life, if not for him to see when hes older if nothing else.

This is just a post on this blog to see how everything working, it seems to be pretty much the same as it used to be, so i will be back with a link to my new blog.

(and from reading some old posts on this, i can assure you there will be just as many grammar and spelling mistakes)

So am going to carry on with the new blog and hope to be back soon with a link :)

Little Haribo Update!

Well as the title says this is a update about my little boy Harry who is very off-tern called Haribo by us :)
Well on Monday he was 17 weeks old and boy had that time just flown by!
My sister in law who was my other birthing partner along with my other half gareth told me she had found some pictures of harry when he was a few minutes old that she had taken on her phone! when i saw them i was nearly in tears!

Harry is over 16lbs in weight and around 69cm long!
The nurses say hes going to be a big boy when hes older!(^ Harry with our friends baby Kayden who is 6weeks old)

He sleeps in his cot and sleeps from around 9pm to 8am in the morning!
Im a very lucky girl as he has slept through the night from about 4/5 weeks!
He now has baby food once a day and he LOVES it!

He is very much a ladies man and loves women far more than men! When the advert for the bassline CD comes on tv with the women in bikinis hes all eyes, and he loves the lady on countdown too!

Saying this he is very much a daddies boy too i call them my twins lol!

In the next few weeks i hope to take him swimming :)
(well i hope for gareth to take him swimming lol i dont do swimming pools lol)

So im slacking again i no lol!

Harry's not been too well over he weekend he has had a bad cough and cold :(

Well anyway im catching up so its going to be like 3 day in one lol

Well i wasn't sure what i should do for this one but then i was looking through my pictures and found this one:

This picture is of me and the girl that was my best friend, i makes me sad because we were SO close all though high school, this was our prom leaving night and we won the school award of best double act because we were so close and never apart!! We left school and went to college together and was still stuck together like glue then when we finished college we totally drifted apart! and now i haven't seen her for over a year :(
Just makes me sad when i think how close we were and you think your gonna be best mates for life and then life just takes you on totally different directions!
Im really happy for her she has a good job and as been with her boyfriend over a year but i just wish we were still close :(
Especially with me having Harry i thought she would want to come and see him but when ever we try and make plans she cant make it or i cant we can never seem to find a time and place that we can both turn up too!
If you by some strange miracle you find this blog Lu i want you to no i still love ya to bits, you were there for me through everything and i would love for us to go back to how it was all the laughs and the tears :) x

Well photos are my speciality so i could show you about 100 pictures here that make me happy!

I cant just 1 picture its not actually possible lol
My little man literally 2 mins after he was born on the 22nd March 2010 (9lb 6oz)
Every time i look i could cry it makes me so happy!!
Plus i think its cute because he looks like he has a hairy chest hehe

This picture just fills me with happiness because how happy i was in the picture, i had just given birth to my son, the most amazing experience ever and i was just so happy he was here safe and was a healthy baby!
(also VERY glad the pain was over and i was proberly stil rather high from the gas and air lol)

This picture makes me happy as its the 1st picture me my brother and sister had together in years!
It was taken at my sisters wedding and we all look happy which I love!! (im actually about 3montsh pregnant here too)

I feel like im the only one who doesn't like the whole twilight series!
Im a old school Harry Potter lover tho :)

I love the man and his book was just as good.

I'm back for day 3 of the TAG!

So Day 03 - Your favourite TV programme

I simply just cant pick as im a TV junkie!
Honestly ill watch almost anything!

I feel lost if i don't watch the news (local and national) at 6 o'clock every day! I feel like im out of touch with the world if i don't find out what's going on!

I love reality trash TV especially Big Brother of which iv watched every episode since the beginning and that's no exaggeration!

I love American reality i love watching almost anything thats on E! like Girls of the Playboy mansion and Kendra!, Keeping up with the Kardashians and things like 16 and pregnant on MTV.

I'm a big documentary fan anything that's real story's like one born every minute and my big fat gypsy wedding!

I love soaps, all apart from Emmerdale because im just not a fan of that, just EastEnders, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks.

Daytime TV is also fab like Jeremy Kyle, This morning and Loose Women

My favorite series would have to be Desperate Housewives. I love it!
Would love to visit the set in America at Universal Studios Hollywood!
One day i will get there lol

I could keep going but as you can tell i basically watch anything that's going and there is a TV on in my house 24 hours a day!

Hiya! im still sticking to my daily 30days blog!

Today is Day 2 and that is:-
Day 02 - Your favourite movie

As like most people i have many favourite films and i cant just pin point one that is my ultimate!
So im gonna narrow it down to my favourite 3 but there are hundreds i could mention!

Number 1:- GREASE!

This must be alot of girls favourite film, it just perfect, singing, dancing and fab costume!
I actually have a pink lady jacket!
My favourite character has to be Frenchie, as like me shes a beauty school drop-out! I had that song as my ring tone for a long time when i dropped out of my level 3 beauty course!
I no this film word for word and it just makes me happy any time that i watch it :)

Number 2:- The Fast and the Furious (all)Ok so maybe this is slightly cheating because there are 4 films in the set but i love them all!
Im a secret petrol head and love the fast cars but even more so . . i love Vin Diesel!
ooo that man is gorg!!
I no alot of you will proberly think what a chavvy choice but deep down i hide away my inner chav lol and what do you expect when i have a fiancée who is a mechanic!!

Number 3:- Rita Sue and Bob too
This is such a cult classic film! I love the story and how funny it is!
If you have never seen it i advise you do!
Such a random story but makes me smile every time :)

Well i have many but im sure thats cheating to just list a whole load of songs so il try and keep it realitively short by picking my favourite love song and my favourite song to dance to and my favourite song to listen to when im feeling down!

Love song has to be:- Eric Clapton -Wonderful Tonight
simply because this was the 1st song me and Gareth ever danced to together at the club where I used to work years ago!
It will always be 'our' song!

Song to dance to:- T-pain - Church
Again this is a song me and Gareth loved from the moment we heard it! Just makes you want to get up and dance and just literally bounce around!
I will always remember, I was dancing in a club to this song when a lady came over and said 'If you dance straighter you would look alot more attractive!'
What she didn't no is that I have a problem with my knees since birth that makes them bend in and there for I cant dance or stand 'straight'. FOOL!
Sorry I just had to rant about that idiot lady, so when ever i hear the song i make sure i dance like a crazy fool just to annoy women like her lol x

Song when im down :- The street- stay positive
I just love the lyrics and I love The streets in general!
As soon as i hear this it makes me realise what ever i go through there will be people going through 10x worse so i should be grateful of what ever i have!

My little Haribo is 12 weeks old now! (3months have flown by sooo fast)

Well Harry thinks he is alot older than 12 weeks im sure because last night he decided he wanted to feed himself his bottle!
I had to video it, it was soo funny!!

Hiya Long time no blog!

I cant actually believe that the last time i blogged was September last year!
I can only appoligise, but i do have good reason. . . I had my baby!
As some who follow me on Twitter may no, i was pregnant and had my baby in March this year!
But for those who dont this is just a big catch up of whats been happeing over the last months! If anyones interested, i no alot of you probs aint so im sorry =[
Well, were do i start, last time i blogged i think i was around 20 weeks pregnant?!

^ there he was at 20weeks, our little lad!
I kept thinking that we would end up having a girl even tho they told us he was a boy so we had 3D&4D scan at about 28 weeks
^ our cheeky boy was confirmed to be a boy lol

^ Me at 37 Weeks Pregnant!!

Fast forward to March!!
I was due March 16th, which was my other halfs 21st Birthday. Lets just say it wasnt the wild 21st that you normally get, it was spent in hospital with me on drips and machines etc as i had a bad kidney infection and was rushed in, they found i was badly dehydrated so was kept in and monitered for a few days.They let me out of hospital on the thursday, when sunday came around i was having pains every half hour or so, i managed to get to bed and sleep through the pain (turns out was contractions) i had a tens machine on which was fab. Got to around 7am on the Monday morning, my boyfriend went off to work. At 9am i couldnt take anymore so was taken into hospital by my birthing partner (my sister in law).
Turns out i was 7cm dilated when i got there, my boyfriend came from work to me and we carried on, i had gas and air for the contractions and by 12 dinner time i was fully dilated. TIME TO PUSH!!!
At 3.25pm after much pushing and pain out popped. . . . . . HARRY!!!!
My little Star was born on Monday the 22nd March weighing 9lbs 6oz and 58cm long!
(A total shock when they told me he was going to be 5-6lbs before he was born!!)

Look a little tired lol!

I had a few complications after he was born mainly losing alot of blood, having blood clots inside and had tears because how big Harry was. So a few hours after Harry was born i was rushed off down to theatre where i had to have a epidural in my spine to be stitched up and sorted out!
I was aloud out of hospital on the wednesday and getting Harry home was amazing.

My little chunk is now 11weeks old and i a right cheeky monkey!
Looks the spitting image of his Daddy.
He weighs 1 stone in weight and is 66cm longIve been told by nurses that hes going to be a big boy when hes older and at least 6feet tall!!
God help me!!

Guinness World Record 2010

I hope your ok?
I havnt done a random blog in a while they have all been about my pregnancy as its starting to take over my life :)

So i thought today il do this blog, shamelessly advertising my world record.
As i posted previously in my blog i have a world record for the largest ever photo mosaic :)

Well if anyone has brought the new Guinness World Record book the 2010, turn to page 113 and see me :)
Im on the top of the page (113) walking across the mosaic, its one of my proudest achievements!!
So i just wanted to share it with you if you was interested
you cant see my face really but i can promise its me! lol x

Pregnacy update [5A]

Hiya :)

In my previous post i said that the underage pregnancy midwife was coming to my house today, she was ment to come at 2.30 but came early at half 11.
Il cut a long story short, she basically asked me if i had any qualifications at all and she was shocked when i said i have 11 GCSEs all grade A*-C and also an NVQ level 2 in beauty therapy!
Then she was like you still with the babys dad? i said yes ive been with him 5years!
She was like oh no i dont no what im doing here, you have too much suport already to need our help and you certainly dont need our help with education! She said that i had the most commen sence and most qualifications of all the girls shes ever delt with!!
So now im not classed as 'underage' and im with all the other adults with a normal midwife!!
I was like thank god, ive finally been taken seriously!

On a ligheter note, what your opinion on these?!?

I dont no what im having yet, and wont find out til october.
I think these boots are uite unisex even tho there leopard print!
My boyfriend however, well in no uncertain terms he said 'No son of ours is wearing leopard print!!!'
I think there cute for slipers, i would never put them on a boy any older than a few months old, but when there newborn i think they will be cute!
My boyfriend has no choice anyway because ive already brought them lol!!

Also You no how i was talking of bio oil yesterday? well i went shopping this morning and went in poundland and saw they have a version of bio oil its called Rescue oil.

It looks suspisiously like bio oil but just a quarter of the price, im going to give it a go it has exactly the same ingreadients as bio oil just a differnt name!!

Pregnacy update [5]

Hiya everyone :)

I hope your all ok, It seems forever since ive blogged, im so sorry!!

Since i last blogged Ive been ill AGAIN!!
I kept having blackouts, the final straw was when i wa sin the asda que with my mom and i said to my mom that i needed to go outside and sit down so as i started walking for the door my vision got darker and darker and it totally went! I couldnt see anything!! I bumped into a large post and i just kept walking hoping i wouldnt walk into anyone, i was so scared but i couldnt shout for help or anything as i got near the exit my sight came back really fuzzy and i managed to get a seat on a bench outside. This old lady in a wheel chair asked if i was ok and i said i was ok now, i had just blacked out and she shouted over her daughter who was fetching a trolly and her daughter came and said i sould put my head between my legs until i felt better, she asked if i was on my own i said no i was with my mom who was paying for her shopping. The lady went in to do her shopping and told the asda 'Happy to help' lady, you no the one who stands at the front of the shop, she came over and asked me if i was ok and things i explained i was pregnant and i had blacked out she said she would get someone to come and sit with me, she come back with some water and with Alex who is my neices boyfriend, he works at asda and he is the 1st aider which was total luck that it was someone i new!
Alex went and got my mom and my mom finished paying and came out to me.
I went home and my mom phoned the doctors for an apointment, i went up that afternoon and they found out i have a heart murmur and because im pregnant its effecting me badly because everything is getting shared that why my vision and speech go!
They also found i have really bad circulation thats why im constantly freezing cold!
I have to have a heart scan to find out how bad it is, as for now i cant do anything so the doctors say, i have to rest and just take it easy!
Ive been a bit freaked out by it all if im honest, and i want to say how lovly everyone was to me when it happened, im so glad there is still nice people out there who will help out people they dont even no :)

On the baby front, i dont think ive got much bigger really!

Im 14 weeks now (sorry about the weird angle it was on my phone)

I have a special 'underage pregnancy' midwife coming to my house to see me tomorrow, im a bit annoyed really because im 19 i wouldnt really class my self as underage!!
Ive been with my other half 5years and im 19 like i said!!
If she starts treating me like a idiot im afraid i will be asking her to leave!

On the sort of beauty front, i have bad skin as in i suffer from acne and being pregnant has sort of cleared it up, but on the bad side my skin has gone super dry :(
Il be buying some bio oil soon as ive been told its brilliant for growing bumps, il let you all no how i get on :)

Any recomenations of things i should use while pregnant?
Have you used bio oil? Does it really work as well as everyone says??

Let me know, would be great to hear from my brilliant followers, thanks for sticking with me through everything, i hope to be back blogging more soon x

Pregnacy update [4]

Hiya lovlys :)

Today was my 12 week scan!!!
And honestly i have been so scared over this for weeks they say that most of the complications happen in the 1st 12 weeks so i was so scared incase they said something bad had happened!!

Anyways me and my boyfriend went this afternoon and it was in one word AMAZING!!!
proberly one of the best experiences in my life, it was brilliant seing the little baby inside me on a big screen and the woman saying 'everything looks brilliant'!!
I could finally breath a sigh of relief!

Im so so so happy!!

And here is my scan photo, i no that he (gonna use 'he' as its easier even tho i dont no if its a he or she yet lol) looks like he has a huge nose but thats his hand or fist resting on his face you can see his spine and his little legs :) so excited for the next scan now!
Gareth has nicknamed him prawn! but im gonna call him baby chicken because how his hands are look like a birds beak and he look slike a little chick lol!!

Im gonna go on a mad shopping spree now i no everything is ok its brilliant!!

My sickness is subsiding now so *fingers crossed* i will be blogging more oftern :)

FAILED!!!

Hiya :)

Again let me start with saying sorry :(
I just havnt got the energy to sit and blog alot these days girls im so sorry!!
As soon as i feel better i will i promise!
But i will keep you updated with little things in my life as usual!

As i said in a previous blog i had my 4th driving test on the 14th of August!
As the title sugests i failed AGAIN!!!
Its just annoying me now, i no i can do it but i just cant prove it to the examiors on the day!
I got 6 minors but i got 4 in the same box so that was a fail straight away, they were all for not checking my right hand blind spot when moving away from parked, which if im honest is something i should do, but how many drivers can say they do do it every time???
I checked all my mirrors and behind me on the left but didnt turn my head all the way to the right to check that blind spot!
I understand it was my mistake so i dont mind!
Never mind, on to test number 5!!!

My 12 week scan is 10 days away!
Im so excited like cant think of anything else but im so scared about something bad happening that i think im making myself ill by it!
Il be glad when i see that screen and they say all is well il be able to sleep at night!!

Im off to Blackpool tomorrow and im back thursday, which is my 19th birthday :)
All very exciting, really cant wait!!

Pregnacy update [3]

Hiya :)

I firstly want to say im so sorry for the neglect! Ive not been active on the blooging scene for a while, iv been poorly and been really busy i will explain myself again.

1stly Morning sickness is still attacking me!! ALL DAY!!
2ndly My sister got married monday (3rd august) so everythings been up in the air!
3rdly Ive been to see the midwife
4thly Yesterday morning i found out that someone has hacked my msn and email address! So ive had to go round and change my passwords for everything and make a total new email address

Ok so you get the jist of why ive been AWOL!!

Update time on my pregnancy :)
I went to see my midwfe on the 4th august and she was really lovly i was there with her for over a hour filling in forms and getting weighed and measured! She said i have perfect BMI (21) for my height which i think is FAB!
She refered me to have a blood test and i went this morning at 8am to the clinic- the issue is ive never had one before and im petrified of needles! My mom literally had to hold me down on the chair! To make it worse the nurse doing the blood test was a girl from my school who was the year above me!!
Made me feel 10 x more uncofortable!
I was actually crying and she said:-
'you no that tattoo on your belly? well it will hurt alot less than that'
Which made it worse for me because i was thinking about it more then!
Anyways its all over and my blood has been taken!
Fingers crossed for me to be all healthy!!
They suspect i have Anemia but i hope not!

Also, ive booked my 12 week scan!!!
Its on the 27th August im so excited, it will be so much more real then!
(Im 9 weeks this week)

Lastly on the pregnancy front! Im so lucky to have brilliant family!
So far ive been given

1x Swinging crib (from my sister in law)
1x Full cot (from my sister)
1x Front facing car seat that you can use from birth to age 3! (from my sister)

Everyones been buying me pregnancy books and magazines bless them!
Its so exciting just cant wait for my scan now!!

Finally im gonna update you on forth coming events in august!!
14th - My driving Test (4th time)
18th - Go to blackpool
20th - Come back from Blackpool & MY 19TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!
27th - 12 Week Scan!!!
29th - Gareths Mom gets Married!

So if im absent from the whole blogging world for a while you will no why!!

8 weeks pregnancy diary!

Hiya :)

As promised i said i was going to do pictures of my belly :)
Well im only 8 weeks but the bottom of my stomach has expanded i didnt realise how much until i looked from the angle on the photo!!
Its scary!
Im 10 stone 8lb at 8 weeks so this is the begining of the diary :)
It does look like a beer belly but i promise its not!

My family are all known to have big babys which actually scares the living day lights out of me!
i was 9lb 7 so was my 2 neice's and one of my neices was nearly 11lb when she was born!!!
and they all went huge when having the babys!! Scary!!!
My boyfriend was only around 4lb when born so i dont no if this will balence out the big baby gene lol!

If anyone didnt no what a 8 week baby/fetus looked like (i didnt to be honest)

OOO and im sooo lucky as you no i have 2 young neices who are 2 and nearly 2!
My brothers wife has kept all here stuff, cot and things and shes said i can have it :)

Also a friend of gazs from work has asked if we want him and his wife to keep some things for us, as he has a young daughter and son so has things for both :)
My friends and family are being so suportive now they have got over the shock from when they found out!
Its all very exciting but i just cant wait for the 12week scan as it will all become so much more real then and i can start thinking about names :)

Pregnacy update [2]

Hiya :)

Its been a few days since ive updated again, and im so sorry :(
I will explain myself, as you no im pregnant and i never new i would feel pregnant at such an early stage as stupid as it sounds!!
Morning sickness!!! thats a myth its been 24hr a day sickness!!
Ive been poorly for nearly 2 weeks and i just feel sick have a dizzy head and have zero energy!
Today has been the best day because ive been able to stand more than 3mins at the computer!!

Ive heard all the remidys for sickness, like eating dry bread, dry buiscuits, sucking ginger busicuits?!
Does anyone no any others?
As none have worked and i cant take pain killers :(
Im so worried about being ill for my sisters wedding its a week today!!

Anyways i was wondering if i did like a 2weekly picture of my belly from next week when i will be 8 weeks and then what my weight is?!
Would anyone be interested? I want to do it for myself more than anything just to see how things change and develop!

I have to go see the midwife on the 4th of august ao next update about it will be after ive been to see her :)

Hiya :)
Im going to start by saying that this post may lose me some followers,
But I have thought over the last few days weather to put up the post or not, but im going to be honest with you all as its a big part of my life what im about to say.
Over the last weeks ive actually felt like rubbish, i havnt had much energy to blog or do much if im honest.
Well i thought i had swine flu, turns out not, im actually pregnant!!

I found out on friday and me and my boyfriend are really happy.
I no that many opinions are that we are just going to be another statistic BUT for anyone who wants to hate on the whole situation me and my boyfriend have been together for 5 years, we both earn our own way and neither of us claim money from the government!!

I told my mom on tuesday and lets just say she was not at all happy!!
But with reflection and time to think about things shes comeing round to the idea more and more!
My sister had a baby at 17 so i thought she would be the one who would simpathise with me but infact totally the oposite, she shouted at me called me all the stupids under the sun and just made me feel like rubbish!
My brother on the other hand, well, i was blown away by his responce, my sister told him and i expected him to hit the roof and blow up big time but you no what? he phoned and started the phone call by saying 'hello is this the pregnancey hotline' bless him, he was like 'lucy your a cleaver girl and its not as tho you have never looked after children/babys before dont listen to what shes said (my sisters) im here for you and you no it and i will never let you be on your own, i no gareth is going to stand by your side all the way so dont worry everything will be fine' i was sobbing on the other end i was just so happy with what he said to me, then he said 'can i tell people' all excited bless him so he phoned around telling my aunties and uncles etc :)

Ok that bit of seriousness over, this blog is more than likely going to take the path of more of a pregnancey blog x so im sorry if you dont want to hear all about it, its just naturally something thats going to take over my life and world. So expect scan pictures and bump pictures :)

Ive been to the doctors they say im about 6 or 7 weeks, im really excited but am not going to get myself 100% excited before my 1st 12week scan as im not stupid and i no things can happen and change so im keeping an open mind until then!

I released my facebook status about being pregnant last night and got about 30+ commentsfrom all and there mothers, some who i havnt spoken to for years but never mind it was lovly all the suport i got.

So thats just my update :)

Its sort of really grey and rainy here which is rubbish, its freezing cold too :(

Well as you might of guessed from the title this is a nail of the day post!
I no summer is not really the time for red nails but i just love red nails :)
My nails look so much better with red nail varnish on than lighter colours!

This is an Avon Nail wear pro in 'Real Red' and i love it!
Ive had it a few months and used it so much i need to pick up a new red, anyone have any recomendations?
Because its my sisters black and red theme wedding i want a really rich red colour

Going off on the wedding tangent here, the wedding is 3 weeks today!!
I have a black dress and leopard print shoes witha red bows on, when i go shopping next week i need to get jewelry, belt, bag and something for my hair either a fascinator or head band.

Well its sunday and im motivated to blog!
Ive been doing alot of TAG posts recently and i really enjoy doing them so over the weekend i thought about one i could sort of 'invent' of my own!!

So for months after my parents were forced to hear me sing 9 to 5 at the top of my voice! jolean was my other favorite! thnking back she was singing about her 9-5 job and how she didnt want this woman jolean to take her man how the hell did i relate to this as a 9 year old?! I cant actually pick a song, im actually in love with all there songs! Mike Skinner is FAB!! (and hes from the west midlands which is always a bonus!!)
When me and gaz 1st got together this was one of the things that we found out we had in commen , i only had the single of 'fit but you no it' and i was going on holiday and Gaz borrowed me the album (A Grand Don't Come for Free) and i listened to it all holiday and it just reminds me of gaz :) The Streets are too oftern classed as 'Chavvy' but just listen to some of the songs closely they have so many meaningful lyrics eg 'never went to church' and 'stay positive'

Ok again im not picking just one song but this man has literally been in my life since i can remember!! My dad is the hugest FAN ever!! He has every album and video/dvd of the man himself! I can litterally sing any elton john song to you, from start to finish word (certainly not pitch) perfect!! Hes like an uncle that ive never met! (My mom hates him shes a daniel o donnell fan oh the shame!!) but im defianetely with my dad for his taste in music! My dad went to see him on his red piano tour and he didnt stop talking about it for weeks after!! The song 'Daniel' always makes me want to cry when i hear it :( but the upbeat ones like crocodile rock, tiny dancer (love the dj ironik remix), and im still standing makes me wanna just sing!!

Promised swatches and Avon!

Hiya

I hope your all ok :)
I woke up this morning feeling really ill and having 2 look after my 2 neices was a daunting prospect.
Then i got back in contact with an old school friend and we have arranged to meet up thursday which cheered me up :)
Anyways one of my neices have gone home now and i just have Evie here who is actually asleep so i thought id finally get round to doing swatches of the things from my secret swap :)
Also in gonna show you a few bits i got from Avon :)

First is the 5 single NYX eyeshaddows:-

They are really lovely, i havnt used any for any looks yet but i might try some looks out for my sisters wedding later im gonna go all dramatic with my eye i think as my dress is super plain!!
(Il get round to taking a pic of that soon too!!)
the three reddy orange colours are really pigmented, the green is more glittery than colour and the Ocean Frost (sort of dove grey colour) is is very subtle but gourgeous!

Next is the 3 NYX jumbo eyeshaddow pencils:-

I really am in love with these and how easy they apply and how good the pigment is too them!

Next the 2 lip gloses

The costal scents is quickly becoming my fav!!
LA Colours is beautiful too!

OO and this soft lips lip protection that i got, it is totally brilliant!!
I even found myself telling the people in the pub how good it was and the smell is to die for!! Vanilla!!
Yummy, i no your not ment to lick it off but thats what i find myself doing.
The texture on your lips is really nice too espessially since i have super dry lips!!
Does anyone no if we can get this is the UK? or is just a US product?

Anyways on to a little bit i got from the Avon last week...

2x nail paints

This ones in romance and honestly not what it looks like in the book in the book it looks less metalic shimmery that it is in reall life!
Im gonna give it to my mom i think its too much of a wishy washy colour for me i think!
Its a beautiful colour but just not a me colour i dont think :)

This one is in blue flare which is a lovely deep blue colour but looks differnt from the book also!! Come on avon what are you playing at??
Its the one on the right belive it or not not the one on the left!!

I really like the application of avon nail polish but i dont no whats going on with the colours they're looking totally differnt than in the book, which is a bit misleading!!

I got this fruit shine lip balm which is in pineapple and oh my life its the most pineapple tasteting/smelling thing ever.
I think it tastes/smells more like pineapple than pineapple does, if that makes sence lol
I actually brought a lime one too but dont no where its disapered too but its not as nice at the pineapple one!
Its really nice on your lips too.
Im going a bit mad on lip balms lately!!

and finally i got these 2 eye liners

The top one is a black kajal stick and is just a staple black eyeliner!
The bottom one is a eye liner and shaddow stick in onyx and it has the eyeshaddow in the lid so when you replace the lid it gets appled to the sponge applicator and has the eye liner on the other end!
Its brill they do it in a range of colours.

1. I am the youngest child of 3, i have a big sister (36) and big brother (31) so im the only one who is still at home with mom and dad. We all get on really well concidering the age gap!

2. I have 5 Neices,
Sam (18- she was born 3 months after me!! Strange i no!)

Bridie (13)
Evie (2 - who makes apperances on my blog loads, i look after every day!)
Jessica (22 months, will be 2 in september)
My sister has 3 kids and my brother 2!

3. I worked at NEXT for 1 week and HATED IT WITH A PASSION!!
I accidently ripped this womans jacket,
(she walked into me and it caught on my name badge thing and anyways she nearly punched me) 2 days later i walked, bloody place,
management just wanted glorified cleaners!!

4. From the age of 14 for 2 years i worked at a pub/club place fridays and saturdays for a friend of the family i actually worked behind the bar, stocked the fridges and sorted out the beer and barrels in the cellor, which thinking about it was a bit bad but at the time it was normal for me, i left when i was 16 nearly 17 because it got a bit much. I would work in the pub friday 7-12 when it shut, but i wouldnt get home til about 4am. Then saturday i would work in his costume shop 8am til 5pm then get home get ready be in work at the pub for 7pm and work through and be home at about 4 am. My boss was ace he treated me really well and he paid me really well too. I really miss it, but because i left we lost touch which i really regret if im honest.

5. I have a big obession, proberly something to do with the previous, with costumes!! I love fancy dress and will dress up in random costumes at every oppertunity!! I own alot of costumes from over the years. Every halloween at the pub we used to do a show for the customers one year we did the Exorsist and i was the girl on the bed i was on a robe harnessed to the ceiling and it was hooked up so it made me fly!!
Was amazing & i used to get to try all the costumes out at the shop which i loved!!!

6. My brother says that, in his words 'Luce, Im sure you were born middle aged!' because of how i speak about things and deal with things. I dont act very teen-age!!

7. From my early teens i really wanted to be in the traffic police!! I am totally obsessed with the whole thing, anyone ever watched the program?? I went to our school careers adviser and in her exact words 'I dont think your fit enough to be in the poilce as you havnt taken P.E for GCSE!!' so there fore i went to college to do beauty therapy! From one extream to another ay?!

8. I have zero confidence! Its been knocked far too many times, so i try to avoid clubbing etc and only really go out to pubs with my bf and family. Gosh i sound like a hermit or something!

9. Me and my bf have had baby names picked out for around 2 years lol
For a boy:- Raiden (sadly, yes its like the one from mortal kombat!! but i love the name)
For a girl:-
Faith or Lola

10. You may hav noticed while reading my blog posts that i have isues with spelling, i also have issues with left and right and get muddled alot when im trying to get things across, and last few years i have been asked if i have dyslexia, its never been diagnosed but apparently i have small signs of it.

So sorry about all these really long ones and random facts, but thats me!

Little gift!

(well thats what it seems to be like here in the midlands lately)

Well as in my previous post i told you about me and my boy being together for 5 years, well the night before our anniversary i felt a bit bad for not buying anything for him, i normally buy loads of silly little things for xmas and birthdays, but we have never really celebrated anniversarys but because its 5 years i thought i would have to buy something so i brought this off the net and it came this morning, super quick postage!!! :-

Its two seperate pendants and i think its really cute, i dont think he will wear it but for him just to keep it in his room will do for me!
I will defo be wearing my half because its cute :)

New avon product :)

Hiya :)

i was wondering if you wanted to no about new avon products before they come out properly like? I could do it every time i find out about a new product or range from the AVON as im a rep.
If your interested let me know and il do it :)

Anyways onto a new product from the avon, which i am lead to belive will be in books in a month or so time and will be all over tv like previous campaigns :)

Its another new mascara and its called New Super Curlacious Mascara and the colour scheme and look of it looks suspisiously like:-
Loreal telescopic explosion with the red plastic sort of spikes.
im not saying its anything like it proformance wise it just reminded me of it as soon as i saw it :)

The avon one is ment to give you lasting curls and lift for up to 12 hours!
and your ment to 'say goodbye to curlers'
I cant wait to get it and try it it looks pretty good, much better than the spectra lash one i hope :)
It will be £5 in books which i think is quite reasonable :)

SECRET SWAP!!!!!!!

WOW thank you to my secret swap sender Missy who send me loads of FAB goodies!

Ive been spoilt!!

When the box arrived you no you get that excitedment of knowing what it is but not knowing what your going to find inside!!

So i ripped it open to find loads of goodies all neatly wrapped in white tissue which makes the suprise even more FAB because you have to unwrap each item!
This is what i got all together:-

I really honestly love everything and the sweets especially, my neice Evie saw them and said 'mine!' i said 'no Lucys' and she went 'NO! Evies' so im sure i will have to share with her :)

Im really excited to try NYX as the colours are really bright and lovly!!
I will definately have to come up with some nice bright summer looks with these!!

The colours are from top left:-

& the jumbo eyeshaddow pencils in matching colours to compliment the eyeshaddows:-
Hot Pink
Horse Raddish
Baby Blue

A really lovely china glaze in the colour heaven, i think it will look really nice as a french polish base :)

Also i got some L.A colours lipgloss in topaz, L.A colours mineral eyeshaddow duo in butterfly, and false nails for your toes which id heard about but ive never used so il definately be giving them a try now!

And finally soft lips lip protectant with SPF20 and a Costal Scents smacks in strut on nude which looks beautiful :)

Avon :- Spectra colour lip colour

hiya

Ive had this product for about a month now and ive ben meaning to do a review kinda about it!
Finally today i got round to doing it takeing pics etc

So what am i talking about?
Avons new inavation 'Spectra colour lipstick'You might have seen Reece Witherspoon popping up on your tv screens advertising it with the tag line '1 lipstick 7 shades'
Its ment to be unlike anything out there and is the 2nd in the set of the 'spectra' range following the spectra lash mascara which was 3 mascaras in one!
Very much like my opinion on the mascara i thought here we go again!
But this time sadly i think my pre judgements are correct!!

The packaging is quite nice you get to see the two diffent colours that i presume get mixed when you turn the dial on the bottom, there is 7 positions from 1 being the lightest and 7 being the darkest.
You have a sort of button at the base that you have to pump for the colour to come through the top

I really dont like the aplicator its very hard to use, so i would recomend that you use a brush to apply it to your lips.

I have taken swatches on my arm of each colour:-

The blend of colours arnt exactly smooth and perfectly blended each time as you can see!
On the right hand side i started from 7 down to number 1
On the left hand side i started from 1 and went up to 7 and they dont correspond correctly too each other, even tho they are the same numbers!

Now this is marketed as a lipstick but its much more of a lipgloss and thats another thing i dont like, its very thick and sticky on your lips and you know its there if you know what i mean!

The price is £10 which i do think is extreamly over priced for what it is!!
The one i tested was 'the pinks' it also comes in :-
The Roses
The Nudes
The Wines
The Lilacs
The Browns
The finish is slightly shimmery not glittery but has like very small reflecs

I really dont think they should have said 7 colours as some colours look suspisiously the same maybe 5 differnt colours would be more realistic?

Overall if you want somethings gimicy and want to give it ago and dont mind that its not going to be the best product in the world then go out and give it a try but realisitcally your not going to be missing out on much!!

Ive been to the post office today to send out domaniques prizes from my contest and out of curiosity i asked the lady if i have to do anything special to send to america, she said i have to fill in a customs declaration forms and she said she would get me 2 so she came back and i expceted big forms but they are just 2 little stickers!!

She said i have to write down every item in the package on the front with the weight and value of it?!?!
It only gives me three spaces for the items so what am i ment to do i have about 10 things in the parcel, makeup etc

Anyone who has sent to america before could you please help me and tell me what im ment to do!!
Im so sorry if im being abit dim but its a bit confusing
I dont want the parcel not to get there and get stopped at customs or something?!

Beauty UK pallets

Just a quick blog to let you know of the bargin i found!

Well you proberly already all no about the Beauty UK pallets in Superdrug for £2.99 and there really good and super pigmented!!
Well out shopping with my mom at this wearhouse garden centre place and they had Beauty UK pallets for £1.50!!!!
I though £2.99 was a bargin but £1.50 thats crazyness!

They didnt however have all 4 pallets just 1 & 2 so i picked some up for my secret swap :)

Im 3 followers away from 100 which is totally amazing so thank you every single one of the 97 of you x :)

PandaDoesMakeup - Animal Instinct Contest ENTRY! [2]

This is going to be my 2nd entry into Pandadoesmakeup's Animal Instinct Contest
My 1st entry was a Frog - I was never fully happy with it and said that i might do another entry so when the contest date was extended to the 15th i thought id give it another go!

This time i choose a differnt animal -
A dog!! but not just any dog, my own dog Billy!!
(im not sure if its actually aloud his as an inspiration? he is an animal, but if not no worries just let me know x)

If anyones interested we resuced billy, he was born in a litter of puppys and all but 2 died and he was the weakest one, the other one got sold, the 'EVIL' person whos puppys they were said he was going to 'kill the dog to put it out of its missery' so as soon as we got wind of this we rescued him he was only around 5-6 weeks old when we got him which is very young to be taken away from his mother but we had to else who knows what his fate would have been. For the 1st few months my mom and i sort of hand reared him and built up his strenth and 2 years on here he is!!
No one would have belived he was the weakest puppy he is so lively and full of character!
Anyways enough of that, back to the make-up!!

I think billy has lovly colouring so i though why not try and do a makeup based around him, so this is the look i created.
I feel its more of a wearable look rather than the frog one i did that made me look rather like a mad lady!(sorry about all the pics i have to take loads because im not 100% that the quality will turn out ok on the pics)

I put on white light brown dark brown and black eye shaddows with a blue shaddow under my eye because billy actually has really lovly blue eyes.
I kept the lips and cheeks really neutral
(sorry about the foundation i look so powdery and orange time for a new shade me thinks!!)

I really like this look i do think its a whole lot better than the frog!

Packaging Rant!

Hiya i hope your all having a good monday.

'i dont like mondays' (Boomtown rats) came to mind after i wrote that :)

I though id do a post today thats more beauty/cosmetic related that most of my previous posts have been x
I want to do a little item on packaging.
You proberly all no by now that im an Avon rep, well Avon has recently changed the packaging of there hair care range and its a move for the worse, not better in my eyes!
Sometimes i feel that Avon, even tho its been going for years, is never taken seriously on the beauty front.
By changing there packaging i think they have gone a step backwards instead of coming forwards

This was there previous range:-

And now its been changed to this??Is is me or does this look extreamly 70's??
Even the beige colour of the bottle, whats with that?

Now i no packaging isnt everything but when you have to try and sell the products through a catologue, where you dont get to see the products in reality before you buy them, then i dont think it gives a very good impression.
The more annoying thing is the product is brilliant, especially the hair balm makes your hair super shiny, i just dont think the packaging does any justice!!

In comparason if you was given the choice between the which one would you pick just from packaging?

I no for definate it would be the pink one!
The colour of the avons new package is just a turn off!

Herbal essance may be on a bigger budget packaging wise as there a huge name on the market but i just feel that Avon had a better packaging previous so why change it for the worse not better?

They have proven they can change things for the better with these Eyeshaddow quads:-

Girls of the playboy Mansion - End of an Era! :(

Hiya :)

If anyone read my Twitter last night they would have seen that i was watching 'Girls of the playboy mansion' .
As the title of this blog might give away i have a slight obsession with this program I LOVE IT!!
Last night i watched transition part 1 where Bridget leaves and Kendra tells Hef shes leaving, even tho its been all over the net previous that they have all left, i actually cryed it really was like the end of a era!
How sad am i?
I think because i had watched it so much over the years that you kind of get into the mind set that you actually no the people on the program, does anyone know what i mean?!
Ive really loved this program and the girls.
Now they have left Hef has Twin girlfriend who are like 19 but im sorry i really dont like them, they actually seem like gold diggers unlike the other 3 girls who i think actually do love hef.
I just hope that they dont get given a show like Girls of the playboy mansion!!
I will definately not be watching if they do!!
They will never be a patch on Holly,Bridget and Kendra!!
This is them! They got arrested for aggravated battery!!!!!

Holly was Hefs main girlfriend and i truly believe she really loved him, she wanted to marry him and have a family with him but i think age wise the family bit was going to be a bit impossible and Hef didnt want to get married to Holly so i think this is what ended there realationship
She left the mansion and started dateing magician Cris Angel (im not sure if she still is or not?)

Bridget
Bridget was at the mansion for 7 years and was the oldest of the girlfriends.
She left to move onto differnet thing, she was always trying to achieve life goals etc.
She got given her dream show 'Bridgets Beaches' on the travel channel and travels the whole world reviewing beaches.

Kendra
Kendra is my absolute favorite!!
Shes crazy, she has lived at the mansion since se was 18 and was there for 5 years, she left the mansion after wanting more freedom and independance (theres a 10pm curfue at the mansion), She has now got engaged to her new boyfriend Hank Baskett whos a baseball player.
Kendra has been given her own show on E! which im really happy about and it will follow her life as she plans her wedding etc
(aparently shes to get married at the mansion?! i dont no how true this is?)

Anyways this is just my own opinion i no alot of people dont like this program but i really do and was truly sad when it ended :(
but at least i have my little fix of entertainment with Kendras own show :)
I think my new reality obsesion is Keeping up with the Kardashians there so funny Khloe is definatley my favorite.

Ive just come back from shopping with my mom :) we had a great day, i went to buy some new bits for summer and to look for something for this wedding
Sadly no luck on the wedding front, saw a lovly floral dress but didnt have my size!! Typical!! im gonna keep my eye out in Blackpool tho incase they have it there.

So i thought i show you what i got :)2 vest tops one with differnt colour bird detail (£2.00) and one pink with buttons (£3.00 was from kids department aged 13 but does fit me lol)

Natalia SNOG MARRY AVOID - CONTEST! <--My Entry!

Now im totally obsessed with this show and think its brill so i thought i defo have to enter this contest!
WARNING!!!! - Please read the contest before i get any haters on this look :)
Also the look i did i went all out with clothes so you have been warned lol :D

Snog Marry Avoid - Is a program in the UK that aims to 'Rid britian of fakery and use only natural beauty'
Its a Make-under show which P.O.D (personal overhaul devise?? i think) strips girls and boys back to there natural self and is agaisnt anything 'un-natural' like fake Nails/Tan/Boobs/Eyelashes/Hair etc!!
I really advise that you try and watch a episode if you already havnt, this contest entry will make way more sense then :D you can find it on bbc iplayer or on youtube if you type in Snog marry avoid.

ANYWAYS- back to my look!!

MAKE-UP/FACE!!
I went all out and raided all my makeup and things, im hoping that it all came across on camera how much makeup i had, on it felt caked on!!!!

I concealed my face and then just went for it foundation wise!! I found stuff that was totally the wrong colour for my skin and i have no idea why i have it, then onto eyes- i went for the staple S.M.A colour which is, black bold eyes with ALOT!! of glitter. My flase lash glue had all gone funny so sadly no false lashes, then cheeks was obvious the brightest pink blush i could find and i applyed it all out 80's style! Then onto the staple for any SMA look huge pouty lips!! i used lip liner,lipstick and then ALOT of lip gloss in 3 differnt shades of, what else but, PINK! Finishing touches was all over face glitter and, (i dont no if anyone remembers the episode where she always drew on a beauty spot??) i drew on a black beauty spot with black liner!
I already had fake tan on but it wasnt as tangooed as much as normal so sorry for that let down on that front :( I also made sure i left a nice white foudation line around my hair line and jaw line!

HAIR
I straightened my hair as normal and then applyed my extensions (that dont actually match my hair shade now ive dyed my hair) and started back combing like crazy on the top as this is also a staple look on SMA, I used my Tiarra from my leavers prom - as most snog marry avoid girls thinks there princesses obviously!! lol

OUTFIT
Now the contest said you didnt have to look like a stripper for this but i though - why not?
i have the outfit after all!!.
So i wore my black and gold Corset because 9/10 of the girls are wearing corsets on the show (My corset was brought purely to wear under a dress i had for my birthday, i can promise ive never just worn it to go out lol).
My black tailored shorts and my silver heels (not sure if you could see them in the piccy so i took a picture of them on there own as they are crazy high but stangely comfy?!)

This is my contest attempt for Rebecca's (PandaDoesMakeup) Animal Instinct Contest x
Such a FAB theme which has thousands of possiblitys!
Please keep in mind that makeup is not really my stong point :( ive tryed my best but i think i still may do another entry because i think i could do it bit more sharper etc.

So the animal i choose was a FROG!!
This is the piccy i was insipred by i think its a Tree Frog but i may be wrong.Also as i have 2 little nieces they have alot of animal books and frogs apear alot so heres another inspiration:I dont have the best makeup collection, if im honest its mainly Avon so im sorry about that :(

(most of the stuff i used was SBC because its stuff i got from my beauty college course)

Please be warned i do look slightly demented and possesed on some of these!!
Sorry i look rather evil in most of these, i was actually smiling in some, it was the lips that make me look odd :D
I tryed to get a motled/marbled look to the green like a frogs skin, i used 2 different greens and then a bronzy/gold colour around my eye.
I did sliver glitter dots above my eyebrows.
I used bright pink blush for my 80's style cheeks as the little cartoon frog has pink cheeks.
I used bright red on my lips with the red glitter.

I really enjoyed doing it even tho im notthe best by a long mile at it.
Cant wait to see other entrys!!

<- check it out if you havnt already x This is my very 1st ever contest that ive entered. Sarah is hosting a brilliant contest, which you have to do a Disney based makeup. I was soo excited when i saw this contest as im kind of a Disney freak, without a doubt i did'nt even have to think twice about which character i wanted to do, it was always going to be: Ariel - The little mermaid. Ariel is just my absolute favorite!! Im such a geek, i even have the costume that my mom made me:

I also have a teddy of her fish Flounder that i brought when i wet to Disney Land Paris a couple of years ago!!
(i was so gutted when i asked my mom where it was and she said she had put it up the loft when my room was re-decorated, i so wanted to use it in my pictures.)

This was the image i took my inspiration from : I love this piccy with Flounder & Ariel

So this was my look i put together:
Ariel doesnt have a specific makeup look, so i used some of the colours from her outfit and things like the green, blue and purple and put them together and of course loads of glitter!! - It is Disney afterall :D
I kept the lips pretty neutral with a light pink glittery colour and popped a flower in my hair!! (Im so gutted i couldnt find my flounder fish =[ )
I forgot to put my necklace on but it so reminds me of Disney so il show you all :)
Its a locket and says 'Wish Upon A Star'

This is just a random post about my obbsession with charm bracelets!
Every since i can remember i have had an obsession with charms well any miniture things if im honest :)
I think its just the dinky-ness of the things and how detailed they are.
I have a dolls house too with all the miniture furniture, it would have proberly been cheaper to buy a real house and furnish and decorate it, its such an expensive hobby!
And I dont care what you say your never to old for a dolls house :D

Back to charms, i own 2 charm braclets and i just wish that this was mine!
But its sadly not!!
I just think this is beautiful!!
All the detail and work thats gone into each one!
Sadly the one of mine is gold and only has 4 charms on it at the moment because the clasp is broken so i need to get that fixed before i wear it so im not going to take a piccy of that!
Hopefully one day it will be like this one :)

Secondly i have a silver one which has alot more than 4 charmsThis is proberly one of my favorite items of jewelry i own!

I was watching Kelanjo19 's Haulorama video on youtube and saw she had brought a watch :)

I thought it looked familiar!!
When i looked through my avon book it seems that theres a trend going on

This is the watch Kelly brought its a Sekonda and its £19.59 from argos

This is the Avon watch which is £15 from Avon

This is the River island one £19.99 from River Island

This is what all these watchs are a 'copy' of which is the Chanel J12 which is aprox £2,000

I think there all pretty similar!
Obviously the Chanel one has the logo on and would proberly last a lifetime, but is it worth the extra £1980??

Beauty school dropout

I was looking through some pictures on a old memory stick when i came across loads of pictures from my college days, i went to beauty school and im a qualified beauty therapist to level 2 standard.

I was picked to start the level 3 extension year but found out that it was electrosis, and i have a huge phobia of needles, the tutor was not at all simpathetic and she thought the way to get me over the fear was to stick the electrosis needle in my arm!!! (while i was sobbing because i was so scared) i freaked out and walked out the class and never went back!
Hense the name of my blog 'beauty school drop-out'
I was sang the song from grease so many times after i walked out by my boyfriend and brother etc!
Something i really regret if im honest!
But im still level 2 qualified so if i ever get over my phobia of needles il go back and finish level 3 :)
So this photo i thought id put it up cuz i loved my make up here:This was just after my college fashion show in which i was choosen to do the 80's and be a sort of 80's madonna i no i look nothing like her and i have dark hair but it was so much fun!
This was nearly 2 years ago now arhhh i was 16 here, shockin seen as i look older there than i do today.
Because i was at beauty college we had to do make up on each other through out the year and the fashion show was the end of year thing that judged our make-up, you proberly cant tell from the piccy but my whole face was super glittery.

I used to travel home with that make up on, and catch the bus, i did used to get some strange looks but i also had to take a pink suitcase to college with me everyday so i think they just thought i was a bit of a nutter.This was in one of the treatment rooms and in the background you can see the pink suitcases we had to take to collegeIn the snow with the pink suitcases!

They were a nightmare the amount of times i got asked if i was a air hostess with that thing was unreal!!

Heres some more crazy make up done over the year at college:This one was a test run for the madonna look, i quite like the smokey eye just not the bright red 80's cheeks and lips!!

This one our tutor said do what you want so i think we literally did; its a rainbow eye with different coloured rainbow tears that you cant see fully but they went all down the side of my face!

And finally i look like a man on this picture, i think its the red lips but you get to see my not at all fetching uniform it was navy blue and made from the worst material ever it was horrid especially when it was warm.
(Thats my friend Lucy (yep we have the same name aswel which caused alot of confusion in college) in that pic and the one with the pink coat on and she will kill me if she reads this so im gonna pop a picture of her now up as she looks nothing like how we did at college)!Lu now ^

Im hoping that when i pass my driving test i can do my beauty therapy mobile and am interested in doing training in more treatments like stone-therapy and aromatherapy!

Just a quick post to say how much i love the barry m nail polish (304 mint green) that i recieved in my secret swap from MagpieSparkles shes a star!(picture dont do justice its a really beautiful mint green colour this pic makes it look more grey)It makes me feel so summery just gotta get my gladiator sandles back from my moms weekend home then summer here i come!

Even my BF commented on it :) BONUS!

So when the door knocked this morning i was very excited to see it was our postman,
he said 'you have a parsel' :D

Is it just me or when you recieve a parsel do yo u get mega excited even tho sometime you know what it is?
Well this parsel was FAB!
I new it must be the Summer Secret Santa that Rebec ca from Pandadoesmakeup had been running :)

I had no idea what i would be reciveing and no idea who from either!

I opened it and it was jam packed with goodies i seriously was sooo excited!!

I just want to say before i put the picture up of the goodies that my 'secret santa' must have been a psychic or something because i was literally going to buy some of theses things the next time i went shopping and one of the things i have ordered already!

(i asked for a big smile and this is what she did)

I want to say a HUGE thank you to my secret santa as she gave me loads of things and they were spot on!!
Like i said i had already ordered one of the things and was going to pick up the others when i went shopping so it was really fab!!

You may have seen this product advertised on TV lately

Its Avons new SPECTRALAS H MASCARA

Now i am gonna be honest on 1st looking at this product i wasnt at all impressed with the whole 'dial technology' and thought it was just another gimmic from Avon to get people to buy.
Like ive said previous i am a Avon rep but unlike some im not trying to sell it to you on here, i want to do a review that would be true to the product and my honest opinion not a sales opinion.

The whole selling factor that Avon are using is :
Innovative mascara gives three looks in one tube - just twist up the unique packaging to customise your preferred level of volume, from a full everyday look to dramatic high-impact look. Clump-proof and flake proof. 8x the volume.

So what it means is,
There is a small purple dial at the base of the tube with 1 , 2 and 3 writen on,
all you have to do is turn the dial for the desired effect.
1 is meant for an everyday make up look
2 is meant to give reasonable volume for a more glam look
3 is meant for a full on glam volume look..........

.....Thats the theory anyway.
I used the mascara and i must say it DID work!!
I actually took photos of the three steps and my eyelashes before but it was at night with no natural light so they didnt come out too well il show you one of the pics but i will do new photos tomorrow in the day time so il update then :)This was with number 3 im sorry its a crappy pic and is not very clear at all doesnt do product justice really!
(i look like something from blair witch lol so i will do new piccys and upload them )

I did a small, not at all scientific test, i put the number 1 on my one eye and number 3 on my other eye then went into my boyfriend and asked him to tell me which one looked more 'volumised' and he pointed to the one with number 3 on so if my boyfriend could tell then it must work lol :D

So overall i felt i could see a difference and it does actually work, so my 1st impresions were wrong i wouldnt say its the best thing since sliced bread but it works and i cant doubt that fact.
The product is 9ml and due to the 'dial technology' it makes the product kinda bulky and i do think it looks like a permenent marker pen.
I have no idea about what happens inside when you turn the dial, i am kinda tempted to cut the tube open but thats just a waste of product so when its empty i think i may be doing that for curiosity pursoses :)
My presumption is that when you turn it dispences more product onto the brush but thats just a guess?

So overall i would say if you like gimmicky things or new ideas give it ago,
i supose it does give you '3 looks in one tube' as they say,
so with the recession and all i supose your getting a bargin if its '3 mascaras in one' :).
It comes in the shades Black and Brown/Black

Avon price £5
(£5 dived by 3 = £1.66* recuring so i supose thats what your paying for each look)

Ive just found out that Avon have used the 'Dial Technology' and produced a lipstick that in theory gives you 7 shade!

I saw some of this brands products being used by some of the beauty bloggers before on youtube and on blogs and i was very impressed :) the one that stood out 1st was the 'pastel polish' the bottle is so cute it looks like a little medicine bottle and i dont think may people would have guessed it was a nail varnish on first glaces.
Superdrug stock these products - well most of them apparently do just not the ones local to me :( neither of them had the pastel polish i dont no if they didnt have it or it had just sold out, so anyways i thought id look for there website and i must say this website is fab :)

Not may websites offer that on what ever you buy, you normally have to spend a minimum of £10 to get it free delivery.
So in theory its cheaper to buy from there website for me, as i have to bus to the town were the superdrug is which costs £3.40 there and back and when i get there they dont always have what i want, so its the website ordering all the way for me :)

Ok so the last few days have been eventful for my poor hair :(

I was impatient and home dyed it and pre-lightened it which sent me ginger then made the red go orange red !!! grrrr!!!!
My own fault tho for not waiting a week or so.
ORAN GE HAIR!!!! it was luminous, wasnt even all the same colour i had dark and light bits all over!!

So i thoght i was stuffed and would have to go shops monday with my hat on and get a new hair dye BUT....... the god that is my mother came home from there weekend place and went 'oh my god what you done to your hair?' and then she went 'theres a brown dye in my room that i brought a few weeks ago but never got round to using'
Shes a bloody star!!!!
Thank god for her buying and not using things ways lol x

So a after my mom dyed my hair i am left with this -

its a nice redish brown colour im really happy with it if im honest x

HAIR UPDATE !!!

Ok it went wrong!!!

I was very impatient, i asked the person who normally does my hair if she could do it in the next week but she said shes booked up so i would have to wait til the week after!!
ok i though, i can wait 2 weeks, couldnt i??. . .

But saturday i went into superdrug and saw the hair dyes. . .
i was with my bf and picked up the pre lightner and the red hair dye!!
how hard could it be i though?
so i got home and got my boyfriend to put the pre lightner on and he did bless him and it did work - of sorts, - it turned out looking like a tabby cat!

Nothing strange i thought, as thats how its ment to kind of go when you lighten it!
So i gave it a couple of hours and got gaz to put the red on, well it went on fine and there was more than enough left, so my boyfriend let me put the rest on his hair
(hes got a mohican sort of style)
so when i washed mine off i thought it looked OK. . . . .until i dryed it that was!!!

The result luminous red . . . because i had pre lightned it!! i thought id done the right thing because i thought the true colour thas on the box would come out better on the blonde/gingerish hair but obviously it was too light so the colour went too orange/red and not the rich red that i was after!!

Sods law tho, my boyfriend, who didnt use the pre lightener on his, turned out such a nice shade of red...TYPICAL!!!

I will be putting pictures on at a later date as my boyfriend took them on his phone and i forgot to get them off him before he went!

Moral of the story.................'Patients is a virtue!' &
ALWAYS WAIT FOR THE HAIR-DRESSER!!!!!!!!
I will learn my lesson - ONE DAY :)

What im gonna do now is dye it back black me thinks, as thats the only thing that will cover, so at the moment im wearing a rather 'fetching' pink beret that i wore all winter trouble is, its dead warm today so i look rather like a mad woman!

Just A Few Bits . .

So a few days ago now i went shopping with my mother :) bless her shes a star , anyway we went to matalan and i picked up a few things . . .If you saw my 1st video *whats in my bag* you will have seen that i had the lily allen gold heart earings but they broke :( so when i saw these hoop bamboo ones i had to get them they were ment to be £6 but it was 75% off so they were £1.50 how much of a bargin!! I really love head bands so i thought this one matched the earings so well i had to get them i have a thing about gold and cream things! bargin too was only £4And finally another head band its two dark brown hair plaits which ive been looking for to match my hair for ages i found one in claires but one of the plaits had come undone and they didnt have anymore so was gutted, so when i found this one for like £2 in matalan was very happy :)

Im gonna be away for a few days at my brothers so i will be back sunday and do a random ramble blog more than likely :)

RED HAIR . . . .HELP?

So im sooo bored of my hair its mid length and dark brown and its boring me now ive had it like this for ages after growning out my graduated bob/pob hair cut.

I was watchin skins and i really lovethe colour of the twins hair then while watchin hollyoaks i noticed nanceys hair is a lush red colour too so i thought lets go for it so in the next week il be getting my hair dyed and cut *hopefully*

so thats the style i want :) how sucessful it is im sure you will find out when i post a picture after ive done it!

But i need anyone out theres help . . . i want this shade of red ( in the piccys above) and was going to pre lighten it 1st as my hairs so dark and then get this brand of hair dye . . .

but which one will look most like that colour? the one on top is called hypnotic red and the one on the bottom is cyber purple even tho it looks more red to me?

So anyone out there used these products?
Whats the finsh like? does it actually go this vibrent?

This is just a random blog about my weekend, me and my boyfriend went to the Zoo!!

I Was like a kid again im 18 and my boyfriends 20 and it was just us walking around the Zoo, we did get a few funny looks from the familys with loads of kids but if im honest i had a FAB day!!!

Avon Nail Varnish Review

Ok, so heres my 1st attempt at a kind of "review" =D

Thought id start with somthing a bit simple ..... Nail Varnish!

Now i may be a tiny bit bias due to the fact i am actually a Avon Representive but that said it dosnt mean i love all Avon products.

I no Barry M do some FAB bright colour enamels but these are just a different alternative..

Avon have cottened on to the trend of bright nails and have brought out a new range of nail enamels:
bright yellow (sunshine)
bright orange (coral beat)(sorry about the poor photo qulaity i blame the flash)

Here are some pictures of what they look like on my nails which are pretty short

YELLOW OVER VIEW: overall im not actually sure how i feel about yellow nail varnish im normally a darker colour kind of girl but i can see how it would look good for summer as somthing different

ORANGE OVERVIEW: i really like the orange i would definately wear this and i like it loads more than the yellow and its still really summery but not too in your face

I really liked the brush on these varnishes as it covers the nail really well and is not too clumpy

They come in 12ml bottles and cost £3.50 but this is on offer and it says they will normally be £6 but Avon are pretty good with offers im sure they will put on a buy one get one free or some similar offer on with these in the future.

I LOVE LEOPARD PRINT !!!

I have a slight obsession with leopard print and i have had 2 new items this week .....

Cicular Earings with gold detailing its actually painted mother of pearl from Ebay too bargin at £1.99 and £0.99 postage so £2.98 Total

Huge Circluar domed ring with gold ring I LUV IT!!!! Bargin too from Ebay £2.99 and £1.20 postage so £4.19 Total

I literally have most things you could think in leopard print shoes,bags,clothes,trinkets,car accessories,hot water bottles but my absolute favorite is my leopard print dressing gown i had for xmas from my sister-in-law!! she no's me so wellI totally live in this x im always freezing even in summer and i always wear dressing gowns over my clothes when i sit in the house as its like wearing a blanket, so a leopard print one was just FAB!!!! :D x

Ok so i started this whole things yesterday after a crap day of which consisted of me failing my driving test !!! your aloud 15 minors and i got 17! GUTTED, anyway enough feeling sorry for myself!
Just wanted to say a couple of months ago i found the whole youtube make-up comunity and was well and truly taken in by it and found a few people i liked and subscribed, then i found most of them on twitter to so followed them on there, now ive opened this blogger account and seen a few of them have a blogger to and found you can follow them on here too so i have so im sorry if its like i have been stalking you all, your videos are FAB!! keep up the good work!

Im Lucy *WAVE*
I really wanted to do a blog for ages now and today i just went for it and opened an account
Im not a very interesting person and i dont have very many hobbies etc but just wanted a blog to vent and moan if im honest :) but also to rave about the good things that happen x
